Workshops
“roll”
bodylanguage builds bridges between languages and movement through a unique methodology that takes individual words as its unit. In our workshop, we collaborate on embodied translations, dialogic experiments, and playful word explorations, chewing on meaning and digesting it through our dancing bodies. Through movement/speaking exercises and choreographic prompts, we associate words with gesture, rhythm, and physical sensation. The practices we will explore in the workshop are highly related to the creative process of we’re too young to write a memoir and will provide insights about the various ways that we use language as a tool for embodying meaning.
